After reaching the fields, members of the firefighting team analyzed the drought situation, laid the hoses, and used the water from their firefighting trucks to irrigate the fields and their firefighting lances to water the fields for the second time, so as to increase the survival rate of Ophiopogon japonicas. “We’re grateful to the firefighters for their timely help, which solved our biggest problem,” said local farmer Zhang Bin.
