Lori’s desire to be a writer living in New York City began as scribbles in a washed out corduroy three-ring binder, at the tender age of nine; an ambitious dream for a child growing up on a five-acre farm in Central New York.

Her love of language stayed with her through college where she earned her BS in Journalism/Advertising and an MA in Communications. Lori went on to become a senior public relations executive for the next fifteen years, integrating her gift of gab and skillful words to publicize both people and products.  Even while working in PR, she never let go of her passion.  With an expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, she ghostwrote and bylined health and lifestyle pieces.

In 2007, writing became Lori’s full-time focus when a man she met online proposed after only nine weeks. In a rapid 10-month transition from single, 38-year-old career jetsetter in Manhattan, to Brooklyn based stay-at-home Mom, Lori started to pen a memoir, detailing her method for finding love in less than a year and became a freelance entertainment and relationship writer.

In 2010, she launched  CupidsPulse.com, a  one-of-a-kind relationship site that analyzes trending celebrity news to provide relatable love advice for singles and couples.

Lori’s writing has been featured on leading websites such as YahooShine, YourTango,  More.com, Divine Caroline as well as Newsday, Bella Magazine, and Chicago-Tribune. She has been interviewed by Redbook, AOL, Woman’s Day, The Wall Street Journal and on AOL, WebMD, Fox News, Match.com and The Suze Orman Show.

Lori was recently featured in the book, No Excuses: 9 Ways Women Can Change How We Think about Power by feminist icon Gloria Feldt and Cheat on Your Husband (With Your Husband), by Andrea Syrtash.

When she’s not busy writing or managing her team of twenty, you can find her at the latest book party, NYC event or quietly spending time with her loving husband, two beautiful daughters and their 140lb St. Bernard, Thor.
